The Abled Amputation Foundation and Abled Amputees of America operate as a national nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.  We provide funding to rehabilitation facilities for the purpose of paying for rehab for amputees who are need of financial assistance.  This includes those who are uninsured and underinsured.  We encourage full participation by the patient, while providing education resources and inspiration at Abled Amputees of America.

The Mission

To make outpatient physical and occupational therapy possible for amputees needing financial support, while promoting wellness in body, mind and spirit.

The Vision

All amputees will ambulate from place-to-place more independently, often without an assistive device. In addition their self-esteem will be higher, improving their overall quality of life.

The Values

Integrity - We must be honest, transparent and ethical in all we do.

Stewardship - Responsible managers of the resources, gifts and donations given to us.

Compassion - We empathise with those who have suffered and do what we can to stop any more pain.

Perseverance - We will continue to help despite any obstacles we may face.

Vision - We keep our prayers and hopes in front of us at all times and never lose sight of achieving them.

The Prayer

May God himself, the God who makes everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, put you together - spirit, soul, and body - and keep you fit for the coming of our Master, Jesus Christ.                      1 Thessalonians 5:23 (MSG)
